The Results:
This may lead to preterm delivery, anemia and being sickly during pregnancy. The mother should be properly nourished during this stage since the mother is the baby’s nutritional source. If you have eating disorders, your baby may have impaired growth and development, aside from low birthweight there is also the risk of getting birth defects and unexpected death.
Pregnancy Tips:
Eat balanced meals. Don’t worry too much if you are gaining weight while pregnant. It is normal for a pregnant woman to gain 25 to 35 pounds during pregnancy. Don’t try to lose weight while you are expecting. Don’t take diet pills or any food products that will cause you to lose weight. And make sure to seek medical help if your eating disorder is getting uncontrollable.
Aside from eating disorders, sexually transmitted diseases is also one of the common pregnancy risk factors.
